None. I cut way way back nearly 2.5 months ago. I've noticed no benefits whatsoever (hoping there's some good stuff happening internally, at least, even if I have no other positive signals!)

For reference - I was probably drinking 15-20 drinks per week and cut back to 1 or 2/week.

I just posted about this - I notice it in my facial appearance but it has not flattened my belly.

All true but to add to that it messes with your metabolism. Your body basically stops metabolizing food calories while you're drinking and prioritizes the alcohol and tries to metabolize it instead. If you're only having the occasional 1-2 drinks here and there (and drinking lots of water) then it probably won't have any effect on your weight one way or the other. But if you're doing it all the time and then eating crap then cutting that out will make a big difference.

For sure. I’m the poster you quoted. I lost a massive amount of weight (like 80-100 pounds). But I was also drinking a metric ton of high test beer, high stress job, very poor eating habits, essentially no real sleep.

Dropping hooch only leads to big loss as you suggest if it’s a massive signal. And, a lot of people replace that sugar with non alcohol sugar.

Depends on what and how much you drink.

None. I am overweight and thought this would at least get me a few pounds, but it didn't. Very disappointing.

Yep, also I noticed incidentally that my calories burned are higher on average since I cut down a good bit of drinking. More movement the next day, exercise or not.

It depends on if you replace alcohol with food. I don't drink so thats all I have to add to this conversation.

It isn’t the booze necessarily. It’s the terrible sleeping, cortisol, poor eating, and the repeating of that over and over again.
