I’d be annoyed about the mess but he’s cleaning it up.

Can’t get over your theatrics. He’s not STRETCHING the dry clothes by shaking them out (how else should he get the bits off? Pick them one by one?). You’re too much.

I think for 4,000,000 pieces of tissue fiber, a vacuum would do a better job of getting it all up than the dustpan tbh. You’d be sweeping and re-sweeping those itty bitty pieces forever.

This isnt a big deal. And who cares that he created more work for HIMSELF. I could see you complaining if he expected you to do anything, but he didn't. You sound so overly dramatic. A fire from a tissue? Stretching out the clothes by shaking them? I can't imagine what a nightmare you must be like to be married to.

And you need to relax. Presumably you're just being dramatic, but in case not - no, an errant tissue or napkin isn't going to start a fire in the dryer, otherwise my house would have burnt down by now. Also, shaking out clothes is not going to hurt them, chill.

I think your best bet is to just leave him to be responsible for his own laundry however poorly he chooses to do it. You just look away, and handle your own.

I was the punchline to be the OP had to figure out how to get all the pieces off the clothes, swept up, etc, But it sounds like he is taking care of the mess he made, albeit slower and in the way OP prefers?

He really just creates so much more work for us both ALL.THE.TIME He said he would help with his laundry, he put something in the wash like a paper towel or piece of paper who knows, there is white paper crap on ALL the clothes then puts them in the drier.
