We make about 220K -- I make 165K and husband makes about 50K. I wish he made closer to my income so that we could save more for retirement and kids' college, otherwise perfectly happy with our modest housing and older cars.

I always wish I made about $200k more than whatever my current salary is. I’d gross about $130k after taxes, allowing us to save an additional $100k and use the $30k for things like extra house cleaning or vacations.

We earn $200k - 400k.Due to husband’s business fluctuations. I make 120k in my corporate job. I wish we were at 400k-500k for planning purposes.

HHI fluctuates between 150-200k. Hasn't been a problem until recently and trying to purchase a home. Suddenly feel very poor.

$20k working very part time like 7-13 hours a week and only 8 months a year. More than money, I enjoy not having to go to work.
I do not wish to make more. There's nothing I need or want to buy. I love living in a condo with thick walls and nice neighbors.

Wish I earned/accumulated enough to never worry about money. I am pretty good with managing my finances though, debt-free except my mortgage which is almost paid off

My salary is $215k and I am currently receiving a retention bonus of $56k annually. That current total of $271k is perfect for meeting my goals of spending and saving. However I’ll be going back to $215k in two years. Wish I could stay where I’m at. DH left his full-time work due to health issues so I’m the only HHI. That said, last kid goes to college soon so hoping expenses decrease to compensate.

The love of money is the root to all evil. It can still your joy. You need to be content and gracious with what you do have. Count your many blessings or you will always be chasing the almighty dollar.

Amen to this! You spend a life time accumulating stuff. By the time you hit age 50, you want to get rid of stuff.

65k as a first responder. But I have a lot of weekdays off and it works for my family. I don’t want to work Mon-Fri.
Spouse makes 100k. We’re not rich but we’re doing ok.

Current income around $200k. We have enough with that.

$110k. That’s starvation-level on this board, but I’m fine. I’m not materialistic or status-minded. I have everything I need and most of what I want, physically. The things I truly yearn for can’t be bought so I don’t think more money would make me happier. The older I get, the less I care about “stuff”.

We cycle between $275k and $400k, bonus depending. If it could just be a consistent $400k, that would be perfect.

I make $90k. I wish I made enough to buy a home where I live - nothing crazy, but a two-bedroom condo would be perfect for me. I will never earn enough to be able to do that.
