For that age, can’t go wrong with fun graphic tee shirts. Something that reflects their personality, interests, or an inside joke. Even if they won’t wear it in public, they can sleep in it or wear it around the house. Laptop/water bottle stickers are also good!

If there's nothing specific my 19yo wants, yes, I do. I might give a small gift with it, but she would rather have extra money than most gifts. For special occasions - high school graduation, 18th birthday, etc. - I gave special gifts like jewelry or an experience gift she wanted (like tickets to a Broadway show). But for Christmas, I gave her cash and something small.

I don't give my own kids money. Generally by this age, we give experiences, like we gave DD four tickets to Taylor Swift.

They want money. If you know them super well and know something they'd really love, go for it. But in general, yep, MONEY.

I get my nieces and nephews high-end chocolate bars for their stockings.

Bet she'd love any of the above a lot more if it had a $50 bill wrapped around it.

She's not that kind of person. She'd just put that $50 towards savings.
