The quality is no where near 2000 level quality, but I’ve had the shirts for 5 years and I think they always look really pretty and pulled together. The cotton fabric is thinner than you would see at liberty, but the trade off is that they aren’t so stiff and starchy. They have other liberty tops that are peasant style or tunic style, and I wouldn’t get those because that’s where jcrew starts to look cheap - when they are shapeless and just a cheap balloon of fabric.
I generally think jcrew makes some decent items, if you have an eye for things, that can round out a wardrobe, and will last for a good number of years.
