This might be as expensive as the bmw x5 - is it worth it - as it is much smaller.

+1 BMW interior is very elegant and great seats! Seats are very important and being comfortable. I prefer the BMW X5 (if you have space in garage).

My mom has an X5 and I have an XC60 (2023). The X5 drives like a truck, it's huge. My car is really fun to drive. It has Google integrated so I can say "Hey google take me home" and the google maps appears. I don't have to use Apple Play to include traffic.

This is our 2nd Volvo and we had zero issues with the first. FWIW, we leased for $783, $57k MSRP, zero down, in MD, where leasing is more expensive because of taxes.

i have had both a volvo and bmw, i still have the volvo going on 17 years, the bmw was a problem after 2 years and continued to be a problem until i got rid of it.

Just bought our second XC60 (it's our third Volvo). Drives like a dream, very tall family members have plenty of room, and these cars are known for safety. Very happy.

Cannot comment on BMWs.

I would never lease but if you are wanting the latest bells and whistles, then yes, I agree that two or three years from now you could get something shinier.

I am curious how much you are willing to pay each month for the car.

Love my XC60. Did not look at BMW but used to have Acuras. We buy bc leasing doesn’t make sense for us.

would love to hear your experience with either option. The Volvo is slightly cheaper but I don't know how much BMW will negotiate.

Also, I'm thinking of leasing b/c of how quickly technology is changing for plug in hybrids. Id love thoughts/opinions on that plan as well.
