If you can afford to do so - this sounds like a great opportunity to hire a cleaning service to stop by & perhaps do a “one-time only” cleaning job.
It will co$t you some money > but in a situation like this will be money very well spent I promise you.
At least your kids are old enough to help out w/the cleaning.
Good luck! 👍🏽

Just do the minimum. Guests won’t notice things that you notice. Save some energy for when they leave! That’s when I lose it because it’s not my mess. EWW WHO LEFT CRUD ALL OVER THE FRIDGE DOOR PULL.

You better test for COVID before those guests come.

Can you just pop an Advil, chug some water, and lay down for an hour in a dark room? Will that get you feeling better?

Long-awaited houseguests coming on Friday. I have a whole schedule for cleaning today and tomorrow, but woke up tired with a persistent headache. Luckily the kids are here and are helping, but I still need to do stuff myself, and have to drag myself out of this chair I'm typing in. I should just do the things I don't need to bend down for, like organizing surface areas or something... every time I bend down my headache gets worse. Kids can wipe baseboards and such.
