If a house requires me to do a bunch of cleaning, they should need less turnover time. If I’m doing laundry, trash, and dishes, give me until noon and your cleaning people will still have 3-4 hours before check-in, plus less to do.
But I’m at the point with house rentals that I don’t want to stay if I’m going to be expected to do more than take out the trash and put dishes in the dishwasher. When I’m paying a cleaning fee, why the hell am I also stripping sheets, washing towels, squeegeeing the shower, and whatever else? Especially after a stay of only 2-3 days? Just no. Some hotels have kitchens and separate bedrooms, which is the main thing I like about house rentals. And they clean daily, and all you have to do is leave a tip for housekeeping.
