Remote workers are exceptionally lazy. We are starting hybrid at work and we decided Tuesday and Thursday will be WFH days.
Reasoning we make requests other departments, have in person meetings, manage project status so two days in a row or Monday and Friday makes no sense.
So one staff member when told vents for like 40 minutes he wants Mondays and Thursday’s.
Why. There are lots of Monday holidays and he feels if a holiday falls on his WFH day he should automatically get Tuesday off making every Monday holiday a four day weekend.
I had to explain even if Monday was your WFH day you would not be off Tuesday. That is why we do Tuesday and Thursday.
