If you mean, second, piercing on ear, sure. If you mean nose or eyebrow not yet.

I’m all for making kids wait on anything semi permanent. So if my 12yo has been asking for a year? I’d probably say yes. Just randomly said she wanted it today? Maybe for your 13th birthday, dear. And see if it sticks.

I said yes. And then I said yes to her 3rd piercing too. I didn’t care. It looks cute and stylish.

Mine is asking for this and for now, I said no but that is based on the fact that she’s been having allergic reactions to her first piercing. Not sure why she wants to go through that again.

I genuinely cannot think of a single reason to say no to this.

I guess maybe if she wants you to pay for it, you could say no if you didn't for some reason like the idea. We don't have to fund everything our kids want. And there may be a lesson in that.

But if she has her own money, no reason to say no at all.

I feel like saying no is going to backfire.
But I dont' want to say yes.
