There is not enough protein to keep you full so you eat more the rest of the day.

I think so, too, OP. Same thing happened to me. No other changes in diet or activity. I have decided to eliminate it - right after I finish this oat milk cappuccino

That small of a change would not affect your weight noticeably. But oat milk is not particularly healthy either. It’s usually sweetened and non organic oats are very high in pesticide.

Unless you're vegan just use regular milk. Oat milk is highly processed. That said, it's not the reason you're gaining weight. You haven't given us enough information to help you with figuring this out though.

It’s full of sugar. I switched to 2% bc there’s protein and no added sugar.

Oatmilk is an ultraprocessed food. UPFs make us gain weight. Avoid UPFs. Read ingredients and avoid anything that isn't made with ingredients you'd keep in your house. Yes, oatmilk and upfs male us fat.

It could be that your body is missing the calcium, I know calcium play a roll on weight gain and loss.

Oatmilk doesn't make you fat. Putting more calories into your body than you are burning in a day makes you fat.
