Subject: mcsl coach's LC- when does psych sheet come out?
Kid’s coach wasn’t sure.kid is on top 8 - I was trying to confirm there weren’t a lot of missing swimmers before I scratched him out of some events. Thanks!

Your coach should know but from what I can tell, they are mostly complete and are definitely not "missing a bunch of kids"; so while they may change slightly, they won't change appreciably. Any kid in the top 8 is guaranteed in. The next 2 or 4 are alternates. Realistically, if you're not in the top 20 there's not much of a chance.

Subject: mcsl coach's LC- when does psych sheet come out?
Quick LC overview: takes place at the Rockville swim center and 1 here (8 swimmers) of each event. Each event is double the length of the Saturday dual meet equivalent. So and 8 and under will swim 50 free instead of a 25 free. Events start from blocks.
Swimmers can swim 2 events total, including IM. But that is half the number at all stars so very competitive, and times count for USA swimming. Scratches are due tomorrow. Top times list on the MCSL website (under all star info) so you can see if your kid has a chance at swimming the meet.

Max number of events is 2 (does that count IM? Not sure.), so there are scratches and then they go deeper into the list.

The 8Us do LC 50s (most of these kids are club swimmers who have raced 50s before). Below is the program from last year.

Scratches aren’t due until Monday so usually Thursday-ish, if I remember correctly.
