So, I’m trying to do a recomp and burn fat and gain muscle. Im hitting my protein intake everyday but I’m confused about my calories. So my deficit for mild weight loss is 1520 calories (maintenance is 1770). I’ve logged my food into my fitness pal; my total calories today is 1624 and net my net is 1324. So, to stay in a deficit, do I go based off my total or net (TDEE)?
