Moving the rest of the Tuckahoe and Nottingham kids to Williamsburg is a total no brainer.

I've heard nothing good about it. No thanks.

I haven’t heard anything good about Swanson lately though.

I'm pp and we're zoned for Hamm

I saw that. It was disappointing how many kids right by Taylor/hamm will now be moved to Williamsburg.

Ugh they are going to move students in the walk zones for Swanson and Hamm to Williamsburg to fill it. We don't want to be bussed to Williamsburg!

These are things that need to be done and I prefer this to a fake process where they pretend to ask people’s opinions.

They are projecting a surplus of 1000 elementary seats by 2027 so they feel they can repurpose one school with low enrollment which is very close to other schools (1/3 of students at Nottingham live within walk zones of two other schools) as a swing space.

The report is 272 pages. Well, I know what I'll be reading when the kids go to bed.

We’ll see if the SB has to spine to follow through.

It felt very much like a Friday night news dump indeed. Middle school boundary process, moving immersion from Gunston to Kenmore, repurposing Nottingham to be a swing space (?!?).

People are going to lose their minds.

Wow. Lots to fight about in this one. Middle School Immersion move and full MS boundary changes to go with it, using Nottingham as swing space meaning something happens to the current students, future Career Center plans… Feels like they are trying to sneak this one in while everyone is on vacation!
