Thanks for making my point. An obese person (BMI of 30) is eligible for Wegovy. So is a person with a BMI of 27 and a weight related issue like sleep apnea. So somebody who looks "normal" to you could easily be medically eligible.

36% of American adults are obese. Those are the people posting about the drugs. You shouldn't be jealous unless you want to trade places completely. Feel like starting from a 39 BMI? Probably not.

It’s great but it’s not for someone who has 10 pounds to lose. Most of us who are taking it had 40+ pounds to lose and underlying health conditions. Nothing to be envious of.

+1. I have 60 lbs to lose, have been on it for 5 months, and have lost 5 lbs.

I'm slightly chubby and on it but am about to get off since my savings card expires this month. I will go from paying $25 to $800 a month, which it's not worth. I don't feel great on it, so it's for the best. I lost 20 of the 40 lbs I need to lose over the past 5 months and will up my exercise this summer to try to keep the momentum going. We'll see.

So many obese people are on it. Not so many slightly chubby people.
