Was looking at the draw. I've never seen it where in a one-week tournament, the women don't play Wednesday at all. And their final is on Sunday and the men are on Saturday. We got Wednesday tickets and was hoping to catch some of the female players with byes (seems like no bye last year), but now it looks like no women are playing Wednesday at all.

I am Googling this right?

Compared to the major tournaments, they’re pretty cheap. $30 I think for the earlier sessions. I rarely ever stay for more than 1 or two matches. I mean it’s really hot!

Coco might be one of the players they announce in advance when her first match will be. I was there a few years ago when her practice sessions were put on the stadium over the weekend and attracted a huge crowd. Based on my experience, keep an eye on the draw. If the top women’s seeds get a bye in the 1st round then Coco will not play until either Tuesday or Wednesday. If she has a bye, look at when the match between the players she will play in the 2nd round will be. If that match isn’t played on Monday then Coco won’t play until Wednesday. For those people looking to go to a couple sessions, I love Tuesday-Thursday, you’re guaranteed to see the big names at least once, and most times twice, over the course of those 3 days. I’m on vacation that week and will miss the tournament for the 1st time in 20+ years (Covid excluded) 😢

The full order of play generally won’t be released until the afternoon/evening before. However, they do sometimes announce in advance what day a marquee name will play their first match. Like when Nadal was there a few years ago they announced a few days in advance that his first match would be on Wednesday evening.
