I have not been, but I've always wanted to go to a luxury wellness resort like Miraval or Canyon Ranch. That's where I'd go if $ wasn't a concern.

It makes such a difference to not have the jet lag! We did a trip to Buenos Aires in May, and it was great! The flights going down and coming back were overnight, giving us an opportunity to maximize our days there. Highly recommend

You could go literally anywhere… it would help if you let us know what kind of things you would want to do on this trip. Want to club it up? Want the beach? Want to sight see? Want nature? Want the city?

I just wanted to add, as a solo female traveler, I would always meet other people, friendly faces, on my trips. I want some friendly faces to know where I'm coming and going.

I traveled with a group and tour guide. I felt much safer.

I went to Bermuda as a solo female traveler. You can look up crime stats. It's a very safe place for women solo travelers.

Don't you think as a solo traveler, especially a woman, you should exercise caution wherever you travel? I wouldn't travel anywhere and set my drink down unattended or meet a strange guy and bring him back to my room. I wouldn't necessarily want to announce I was traveling alone, either, unless of course, I was with a group of solo travelers.

COVID aside, a cruise such as Norwegian that has solo cabin fares and doesn't charge extra seems like a safe bet.

Also, I don't necessarily look for "adults only." Again, if you're a woman traveling solo, you might feel safer where the travel is considered "family friendly."

Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas—all inclusive and adults only. American has a 3 hour flight to Nassau out of DCA.

I want to take a solo trip for a break from my family. Cost isn't really an issue, but need it to be no longer than 5 days or so (due to limited ability to take off work). Either international or in the US is fine. Any suggestions of places you have been alone and loved?
