Op here. Thank you. This truly reminds me of labor. Just the despair and the desperately wanting it to be OVER, and just craving relief, any kid of relief.
I’m just so freaking angry right now, we had the worst winter ever of kid illnesses, I missed so much work, I was so badly sick (with flu and with covid and multiple other viruses). I feel like I CANNOT GO BACK TO THAT HORRIBLE TIME AGAIN. I CANNOT DO IT.

Get paxlovid within 5 days of symptom onset. There are a million qualifying conditions - age, BMI over 25, most mental health conditions, high blood pressure, cardiac,kidney, diabetes, etc.
If your dr won’t RX, call your state’s test to treat line.

This just reminds me of labor in the sense of that feeling of desperation and wanting to get out of your body.

I guess I’m just venting/whining.
I have had COVID twice, and the illness I have now feels exactly like the other two times.
I am in hell. Pure effing hell. Honestly the fever, chills, electrical pains in my body, they remind me of my super long inductions. This fever is killing me.
Please encourage me. I’m so depressed. It feels like this will never end.
