-app start (through the app and Alexa)
-notifications if the doors are unlocked and ability to lock
-good location updates
What I don’t like:
-can’t control climate from the app
-can’t close windows or hatch from the app so it will alert you if you leave them open but won’t allow you to close them remotely
Still as I park outside the remote start is invaluable to me.
I hate commoditization of vehicles though. It really makes me mad that I need to pay for this service!
To be fair, I don’t think any care app will ever allow windows or hatches to be closed with the app due to the risk of a kid getting entrapped. Not being able to control the climate is annoying though.
I have an ev with an app with climate, unlock, remote start, etc. But I believe that if it’s out of wifi or cell coverage, you are out of luck. So don’t park it in an underground garage if you are depending on the app. I sometimes drive the car without a key, and I’m always checking that it has a cell signal before I turn it off.
