Don't worry... still going to work.

DP but I mean, it’s good to check in with yourself about what is reasonable. I do this too with weighing myself - we all do it!

Trying to gauge how hungry you are week to week is probably not possible to do objectively and more importantly, your hunger is going to vary week to week for a ton of reasons even if the medicine is working the same. So I think it would be a mistake to conclude that something is wrong with the medicine. There are a lot of more likely reasons (eg hormonal fluctuation, metabolic variation, weather, the moon, stress, etc).

I'm experiencing something similar to op and for me it feels like the medicine isn't working. It does cause constipation but once that is resolved it's as if I never had the medicine.

Same for me, and to answer a PP's question, I am getting real, name-brand medication not compounded.

Are you getting real, name brand meds or similar / generic from a compounding pharmacy?

Some weeks I can barely look at food, and some I seem to have hardly any effect. When I was on 0.5mg, it really took my appetite completely away. Last month it was unpredictable on 1.0mg. This week I went up to 1.7mg and I'm hungry!
It has worked great for me overall - have lost 2O+ pounds in 4 months, but I really think it is something about the medicine that makes it inconsistent every week. Or maybe the absorption is different randomly?
(I inject it in my thigh every week - I try to find a slightly different spot, but around the same place. I have no trouble, and I have never noticed any leakage, so I think it is all going in.)
Anyone else find the same thing?

Sounds like you’re becoming obsessed.

Ignore these ignoramuses. Useless people.

I'm experiencing similar but I have lost little weight. It doesn't seem to be working. My insurance makes me buy 3 months worth and I wonder if the medicine has degraded sitting in my fridge. I've only ever injected in my stomach. I started last fall but couldn't source the medicine again until late January. I've been on it since but had to slowly work up to 1.7 dose. When I first started it, I couldn't manage to drink much less eat. It does curb my appetite some but Ive probably lost only 10 lbs. I have a lot more than that to lose.

I’ve just started to feel this way too but blamed it on increased activity.

I find the week before my period, when I am ravenous, I am still ravenous, and I am now on 2.4!

Good question. My plan was just to follow what my doctor said - increase each month, and my plan was then to stay on 1.0mg for as long as it was working. I stayed on 1.0mg for 3 months, but now it is impossible to get, so I felt lucky that I was technically ready to go to 1.7mg which is much more available. I was nervous about it. So, a little surprised I feel totally fine and ate pretty well today (definitely didn't overeat, but much closer to a normal appetite than I have had the last few months). At every dose I have felt the results are inconsistent from week to week.

If .5mg was going well why did you increase?

Yes, totally obsessed wondering why each week it affects me differently. Didn't know wondering about something and asking if people have noticed the same thing defines obsession.

Yes but I don’t worry about the fluctuation. I think appetite and weight fluctuate and you’re just paying more attention to it now. Try to focus on a longer timeline, like at least a month at a time.

But also wanted to add. You are supposed to get hungry sometimes. It's okay to feel hungry. You are supposed to eat.

Try injecting in you abdomen for a few weeks. The thigh was a no go for me. (Lost 150lbs mostly injecting in the abdomen, occin the arm).
