Did you replace the interior of the cushions? They’re probably retaining the smell, so no matter how much you clean the fabric the sofa stink will return. But also, if your dog is super oily you may just need to replace the whole thing. I have the absolute stinkiest, oiliest dog that has ruined all my rugs despite regular baths for him, professional cleanings (where they take them away for deep cleaning) for the rugs, fabric deodorizing solutions, etc.

Buy new furniture, there is no amount of cleaning that will rid it of smell.

I would also just replace it, and not let your pet sit on your new furniture.

If it’s in the foam, there’s little you can do except replace the foam and/or trash the couch.

I think that would be unusual. Once the covers are washed, our couch smells pretty fresh I think. But there’s a blanket between our dog and the couch usually.

Have you tried basic Lysol disinfectant spray?

https://www.amazon.com/Lysol-Disinfectant-Antibacterial-Disinfecting-Deodorizing/dp/B01DCG0GPC/

I occasionally use this on our slipcovered dining chairs whose slipcovers aren't really meant for washing, and once dry, no Lysol odor or other odors are left behind. Perhaps worth a try...

You need a new couch.

Don’t let the pet sit on it. Wash the pet more often and put towels down that are easily washable if the pet won’t change.

Unfortunately I’ve had several people tell me my couch smells like pet odor and I am at my wits end trying to clean it. I’ve had it professionally cleaned by a company, cleaned it myself with a rental and sprayed it with odoban, sprinkled baking soda on it and vacuumed etc. I’m at the point that I guess I should just trash it? I personally smell nothing on the couch but others obviously do.
