We really like RSM.

DS did Kumon for math. We are doing Kumon. Look at both - visit and ask questions. Then do whichever you think is best for your own DC. Different kids are different. There is no single best for everyone.

I don’t have any experience with Kumon but do with RSM. RSM focuses on problem solving and part of it is learning the easiest way to break down a complex problem and solve it in your head. There’s a once a week class that is interactive where the students work through problems on their own and as a group. There’s also weekly homework. My child had a good experience with it.

I am confused where to put my 1 st grader in for supplement math. Kumon or Russian school of math?
