Op again. This is very true. She is very important for me and I make sure that we are happy together by putting in good efforts and being thoughtful about what she would need or like. She’s the same way too and I would like to spend more time with her but we got busy jobs and I have 10 and 11 years old with 1/2 custody.

I feel like that because I don't want to lose my fairly new bf. We've known each other a little over a year, and dating 8 months.
I haven't really been in love before even though I have two kids. Or I didn't feel what I feel for him even with my children's father. It's so much better this time.

Op, you need to check if it is just your feeling or something else is going on from her side. Don’t play games or manipulation if things are going well.

Yes, it’s normal. Pull back just the teeniest bit and let her pursue you a little.

This is normal, OP. Accept your feelings and emotions and set healthy boundaries if you need to.

Op here. It’s uneasy as like a little anxiety of staying in touch with her or see her as I am in love with her. Not sure if this is normal.

Why do you feel uneasy in your relationship sometimes?

I am a divorced single dad in my early 40s and is in a relationship with my gf of 6+ months. We clicked well right from the start and things are going well that we say “I love you” to each other. She lives 2 hrs away from me but we try to meet every weekend if possible. I have dated a lot in the past and had long term gfs but feels different about this relationship. She is very sweet and understands me well. I wait for her texts and check my phone a few times if I don’t hear from her. We do enjoy each others company quite a lot and it gets difficult to say bye when the weekend ends. Just trying to understand if the way I am feeling is normal.
