My friend and I stay in touch mostly by text. Lately I’ve started to get this feeling he’d rather not hear from me although he initiates the texts after long periods of no communication. There’s this negative voice that pops up telling me he’s going to think your texts are pointless, poorly written, he’s going to laugh at you with his other friends. I think this stems mostly from me not being a texter (I actually HATE it). I prefer the phone. But I get it not everyone is a phone person. I don’t know how to be light and breezy in my texts. I don’t use emojis much. How can people have meaningful connections via text?
