Each Semester is considered a course (worth 1/2 credit) and is reported. Quarter grades however are not.

Posting grades transfers them from the Teacher/Parent/StudentVue side of Synergy to the official final documents side of things. The Gradebook in Synergy function gets disabled once grades are posted and they roll the system over to the next school year.

I'm a HS teacher and right now in Synergy all of the gradebook functionality is hidden and all I see are bare bones rosters for next year. These will adjust all summer as counselors fix problems that the automated scheduler couldn't solve, make requested course changes, level enrollment across section, and add new students.

Teacher posts grades. Administration verifies that grades actually posted correctly from all of the teachers in the school.
