Gourmet has a cookbook that has rapidly become our go-to for just about any recipe we want. It's very well done and super comprehensive. It also has sections that detail things like cut of meat outlined on a cow, how to dice onions, and tips and tricks for cooks.

Yep I was coming in here to say Smitten Kitchen Keepers. I have so many recipes bookmarked; I made the white pork ragu and my 9 year old absolutely loved it

Some of my most referred to...

The Mom 100 https://www.amazon.com/Mom-100-Cookbook-Recipes-Pocket/dp/0761166033
How To Cook Without A Book https://www.amazon.com/Cook-Without-Completely-Updated-Revised/dp/1524761664/
The Mom's Guide to Meal Makeovers https://www.amazon.com/Moms-Guide-Meal-Makeovers-Improving/dp/0767914236

I've been cooking recipes from all of these since my kids, now in college, were little.

Same, though one of my daughters is a vegetarian. I like that one and also the Six Seasons Cookbook.

You could also look into America's Test Kitchen Cookbook.

I’d love a cookbook that I just go through the recipes one by one.

I am not inspired by dinner (I am a snacker)but realize the value of sitting down together - and teens eating what they served. Not getting whatever they want, no mom being short order cook.

A friend mentioned “Keepers” (Perlman)

Any others titles appreciated!
