Sugar snap peas, carrots, sliced cucumber, broccoli and cauliflower, radish, celery.

I definitely have garbagey snack ideas because one thing I love is a snack but this is a way to add a more nutritious option into the mix too.

That…is not homemade ranch

Where do you find the mayoress and restaurant ranch packets?

I have had the best luck consistently finding those at Walmart. Mayonesa would probably also be at any international market that has a Hispanic aisle but I often can find both of these at Walmart. Mayonesa will be with the Hispanic foods and the restaurant ranch packet on the top shelf of salad dressing aisle. If you can’t find the restaurant style packet, the regular Ranch packet will do

Teenage size lunchables. Salami, pepperoni, two types of cheese, crackers or bread, fruits and veggies. Add in some dips like hummus or ranch with the veggies.

Bagels are nice and dense too. Cream cheese, thin cucumbers, tomatoes, onion capers and if you are feeling flush, provide lox. Get the Everything but the Bagel seasoning from Trader Joes, it's a game changer and helps elevate the marginal bagels we have around here.

Pasta casseroles. Have it made and then easy to heat servings in the microwave.

Mini naan & raw veggies with some dips like hummus/ tzatziki/ bean dip - something with a bit of protein is better than say chips and salsa.
Sandwiches - make them on large baguettes and cut into smaller pieces
Cheese board
Nuts
Mini meatballs
Caprese skewers
Cold sesame noodles

When my baby sister was in HS, my mom went through tons of carrot sticks + hummus (or she'd make a sour cream dip), bags of pretzel sticks or pretzel chips, and batches of cookies every week (she would keep dough in the freezer and bake as needed). I'm not sure there's such a thing as 'light meal' when it comes to teenagers - I remember a kid eating 7 homemade (so, like 1/4 - 1/3 lb.) burgers at a BBQ once.

I always have grapes washed and ready in the fridge, and right now cherries. My kids love to snack on those.
Also, I always have muffins or some kind of loaf bread at the ready— I make a bran muffin with chocolate chips that gets scarfed down, or carrot cake muffins or loaf bread.

We will frequently have small groups of hungry teens over this summer. I'd like to have snacks or light meals prepared for them, preferably grab and go. Any ideas?

We've done fruit and vegetable trays, chips and salsa, pizza, brownies, etc.

Thanks!
