Instapot does not exist. It is Instant Pot.

I also love the instant pot. however, i've gone through 4 instant pots in 5 years. Maybe it's just me, but none of their products seem to last more than a year or so before I kept getting error codes that made the pots unusable. In spite of the poor quality, I use the instant pot so much that I just budgeted in 100 bucks a year to buy a new one. But it does not surprise me that they went bankrupt.

The thing that will be really too bad is losing corningware and corelle, which are the same company i think?

I've had the same pot for five years, not one issue. I think the quality is great. I use it often and haul it around back and forth to school functions (teams dinners, etc).

I also use Corelle as my daily dishes. Surely they can restructure and find a way to make a profit. Otherwise there will be a run on existing product. I'd buy each kid a set of corelle for the future. They are so lightweight and durable.

+1 I can't imagine that another company would not pick up Pyrex, Corelle brands and hopefully the production part too so that the quality remains the same.

I'm hoping their subsidiaries (like Pyrex and Corelle) will get picked up by someone else).

No Instant Pot here. Me and "seals" don't go well together (also why there's no front-load washer). Definitely self/user laziness to blame, not those products.

I've used mine since the start - 1-2 times a week. I had to replace the lid after an unfortunate stove top melting issue (my fault) but it's been good otherwise. Which is the problem - I don't need a new one!

I’ve used mine practically everyday (sometimes multiple times a day) for 3 years now and I haven’t had to replace anything. I figured that’s why they are going bankrupt. Doesn’t everyone who want one have one?

Oh crap. Yes, it looks like the company owns Pyrex as well.

That’s odd, I’ve had the same one for about 4 years. I used to use it every other day but now am down to once a week because my diet changed.
