Not the PP, but I routinely drive into rural Pennsylvania and Virginia for family for extended visits and back to DC. You are completely full of bs. DC’s pretty much number one competitive advantage over other cities (and indeed many small towns) is how clean it is.

I just feel like it has been one thing after another between COVID and heat waves and crime waves and flooding and now wildfires. I wasn’t even affected by flooding and sure there is A/C and I wasn’t shot or robbed but reality is none of this stuff happens in some other areas of the US.
