Our maid has one. Why on earth would one aspire to a car service workers drive? Are you a low achiever?
+1, bizarre. Why would anyone want a car with a stick shift? So people can think you’re poor?
Are these PP poorly executed satire or do people really think like this?
I have to imagine the PPs are Republicans who grew bored of shitposting in the politics forum and decided to shitpost in the car forum.
In my experience, GOP’rs (men and even a few women) were FAR more likely to boast about having a vehicle with a stick shift. Like having a vehicle so primitive that you need to constantly adjust the gearing while driving is some kind of maga virtue signal or something. It’s bizarre. These people are fools. I don’t know anyone with a car with a stick shift and haven’t for decades.

Anonymous wrote:My last car was one and I loved driving it. It was pretty expensive for a Civic ($25K in 2016) so not sure what the cost is now comparatively but I'm assuming more. I don't think you would be looking at a mark up for a new one at this point but interest rates do still suck, if you're financing, so there's that.
