DH ran. He’s fine.

Frankly he has no idea what damage he did. And neither does PP.

I run 40 miles over 5-6 days every week and won't run above 100 AQI. Go find an indoor treadmill if you really want to log the miles.

This depends entirely on the individual. OP, have you tried at least an hour walk in these conditions? How did you feel?

I did an hour walk late Wednesday afternoon, and felt totally fine. So I decided to try a run early this morning. It smelled very smokey, but I felt completely fine running. Normal pace, normal breathing, no coughing, no ENT issues.

12+ hours later, I still feel fine.

Different strokes for different folks.

I'm a healthy, active, 40-something woman if it matters.

I run on Thursdays and had some trouble from the get-go today. Decided to walk the rest. If I had planned better, I would have run indoors at the gym.

I didn't run today (Thursday). Assuming I wake up tomorrow and it's orange, as opposed to red, I'm planning run. I live the VA burbs which have slightly better conditions than DC.

If you want to run, figure out how to do it inside. That’s what I’ve been doing. Today I have 1.5 hours on my bike planned. Will do that inside and a little later while running the AC on recirculate all day.

I usually run an hour on Fridays.
I’m assuming since the air quality is at red that I shouldn’t go for a run? Or are ppl running anyway?
