Wut where is this? We're at 1.1" for the week. Which is also 1.1" for the past month.

Not bad yet. Unless you are dependent on a weak well. Some plants may have less growth this year.

Much of our water comes from the Potomac river. Back in the late 90s we had to limit using water for our lawns.

If we get the predicted rain on Monday, that’ll help a lot. Nothing to worry about yet

Driest May in 80 years. The forecast like like never ending sunshine in June, with only a small bit of rain that may or may not happen in Monday. How long until the DMV is in a drought? I keep watering my plants, but they are having a very hard time this year trying to survive. I've kinda stopped mowing the lawn because it is so dry, and it's turning brown still. On the plus side, it seems to be keeping the mosquitoes down, but the ground is getting hard as cement. I can't recall the last time there was a drought around here, although I've only been living in the DMV area for about 11 years.
