Yeah OP, it's hard to find someone with the same level of dogs (work wise) and travel schedule/frequency. When we tried to do it, we'd both travel for winter break, or I got a 2nd dog and she didn't, and then it was just too hard.

I love the idea, but it's easier to just go on rover and hire someone to take the dog into their home or stay in yours.

Just beware of what you are getting into. I did this with a neighbor for our cats. I ended up having to feed and inject meds into her two cats twice a day for 16 straight days over the holidays. I only needed her once, for four days. I ended that arrangement.

You create one with a couple of friends with dogs. We call it a dog share, but are in Maryland.
