Subject: Jiffy Lube Live - anyone been recently
I’m the PP above who went for Janet recently. Just be aware that there’s a good amount of people smoking weed there if that bothers you, especially with kids. You will get clouds of smoke in your face.

I made a mistake - it’s actually a VIP parking pass, not the premier pass.

First option: Go early and have dinner and park (for free) at Craftworx Taproom. Walk to the venue. It will be significantly faster that way. The worst part when leaving is getting out of the parking lot. It will be significantly faster to walk back to Craftworx and get your car there.

That’s why I haven’t gone to see Dead and Co for years and missed their last show - I hate hate hate JFL.
If there was a concert of reincarnated John Lennon, Jerry Garcia, Prince, Bowie and Elvis that I had free tickets too, I still wouldn’t go if it were there.
If it was all of these aforementioned artists back to perform in the flesh, I would camp out in my car for as long as it would take to see them in concert….but that’s just me.

Yep. Plan ahead and just relax and take it for what it is. Don’t stress about it. It will be great once you get in there. Beautiful sound and venue otherwise. Take good and snacks l. Good and drink prices are insane. They did limit bag size when I went last.
Almost missed all of the headliner trying to get parked. And the headliner was who I went to see.

Plan for an hour to get out of the parking lot. If there are any tricks to getting out, I don't know what they are, because I've tried every possible shortcut and I'm always stuck in gridlock.

IA with the above poster - get there when the gates open & tailgate. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, either. Bring a few chairs or a blanket and hang out until you can go in. That's the best way to avoid the traffic.
I wasn't able to do that for the Luke Bryan show last summer and was stuck in traffic for 2 hours trying to get in. I finally got in minutes before he went on.
The longest I've ever waited to get out is around an hour.

Subject: Jiffy Lube Live - anyone been recently
I went a month ago for Janet Jackson. We missed Ludacris because we were stuck in traffic for about 90 minutes trying to get in. Both Waze and Google also gave incorrect directions because of the construction. I was surprised because they’re usually pretty good at that. Plan to get there when the parking gates open and then just picnic for a while. Getting out was much easier, about 30 minutes in traffic, and we were in the farthest lot. Good luck!
