Unfortunately i think most RE clinics are like this unless you’re seeing Dr. Aimee the egg whisperer in SF! It sounds like you’ve had more troubles than most, but some degree of disorganization is the standard across most clinics.

It’s hard because you would expect a controlled process and white glove service for something you’re paying so much money for. The hormones don’t help either. I found myself hyper vigilant and skeptical during my egg retrieval cycle and I questioned everything and felt similar to how it sounds like you feel.

My advice is to stay the course now with CCRM this cycle. Hopefully all goes smooth and you have a great retrieval and transfer and success. They are a machine and they do know what they are doing when it comes down to it. It’s actually pretty complex to try and move embryos once you have them and there is risk involved, so keep pressing forward. It will all work out. Speak your mind though to them about your frustrations, it will at least make you feel better if nothing else.

Trust the process and just know that there isn’t one clinic that has it all together. If you need to do another cycle then definitely shop around for a new clinic.

I would recommend VCRM (more of a boutique experience and you see the DR every visit), I found them also disorganized at times, but I voiced my concerns, and also let go of the control I was trying to have over the situation and the combination of the two improved my experience.

The RE clinics suck, but this sounds extreme. Lol to only being able to competently charging the card - so true.

If you’re in NYC I had embryos transferred to Sher. Dr. Tortoriello is wonderful.

This practice sounds nearly as incompetent as JHU Fertility (Johns Hopkins). Avoid at all costs!
