12+ years later she moved to the west coast as a single cat lady and ended up marry a short, chubby, bald dude about 15 years her elder. I think he came from family money, as he was a bit of an artist dilettante and didn’t seem to have steady work.

For every person it doesn't work out for there are plenty of others who refuse to settle and it does work out for them. Dare to dream and have minimum standards.
