Subject: 9/8/7/7 do we have a shot at elite schools?
Those scores are very good.
If this is high school admissions, the schools put very little emphasis on scores and more on what else a kid brings to the table: sports, musical talent, debate, etc.
Once kids are over the academic threshold (As, strong ISEE) they will use other parameters to actually form the class.

Or should he retest to bring up the 7s?
