One family on our street let their potty-training toddler pee on the lawns, and the neighbors weren’t happy. I still don’t understand how’s that different from pets.

We live in Arlington and when they put sidewalk in our neighborhood, we had to sign a letter saying, we no longer own the part of our yard from the sidewalk to the road.

Little known fact: Their property line doesn’t extend that far.

Anyone who puts one of those signs between the street and the sidewalk is either uninformed, entitled and/or obnoxious.

Why do you think the homeowner doesn't own that part of the grass? What jurisdiction?

Does this person live near Arlington forest? There’s a guy with this sign who once yelled at a neighbor who’s dog was pooping in that part of the grass and was picking it up. He literally yelled STOP POOPING! 🙄

Someone in my neighborhood has about 10 of these signs along their side fence. Every time I walk by, I have an irrational desire to pee on their fence. Luckily, I don’t have a dog, so I can’t live vicariously through them.

WTF? My puppy can’t read those words yet so he will probably ignore it.

I hope your neighbors see you ignoring the sign and pee on your lawn.

Your neighbors are "ugly" because they don't want your dog peeing/pooping on the grass in front of their house? Aren't you an entitled piece of work.

I don’t care about the signs, I am fine with them and fine with ignoring them for the most part. I agree that it actually makes it harder to stop my dog from peeing there. It’s definitely a pee target.

Do homeowners not understand that those signs act as targets for male dogs? My dog will walk past endless open stretches of grass to find a sign post, fire hydrant, bush, or trash can to pee on. Those little signs might as well say "PEE HERE PLEASE."

I see dog poop there sometimes too. But I guess it is allowed?

PSA to my neighbor who put this up - you don't own that part of the grass. You maintain it but my dog has a right to pee there.
I have a mind to pull that piece of crap signage up and toss it in to the other part of your yard.
