Pomp and Circumstance brings me to tears-even if I hear it in a movie.

This what got me - all the kids filing in during Pomp and Circumstance. I wasn't full on crying, but I got that lump in the back of my throat.

They didn't do this at my son's recent college graduation and I didn't feel emotional. (Only the faculty and admin staff filed in - students were already in place)

Then you can stop think about it. Even if I don't cry, I can still figure out why others would. It's a complicated world and you sound simple.

I didn't. At college dropoff yes, but graduation no.

My daughter is still a freshman, but there no way I won't cry when she graduates. You got to think back to the moment she was born and jus think WOW where did the time go.

Of course I will. I'm not made of stone. Heck, I cried at my brother's graduation (it was a year or so after our mom died and I knew how proud she would have been.) There is no point in me trying to hold it back. I'm just going to go mascaraless and pack sunglasses.

Daughter’s graduation is two week’s away and I’m really afraid I’m going to bawl like a baby. Did you cry at your kid’s graduation? If not, how did you hold it back?
