I sit my bare azz right on the seat, assuming it’s visibly clean. I know what’s going on there, and I know what happens when I flush. Public toilets usually have no cover, so I’m about to breathe it all in. I’m definitely not worried about exposing my booty to germs knowing what I’m about to inhale. Also, I don’t have the best balance. I’m afraid I’ll tip over while hovering and pee all over myself.

I figure that if I’m engaging in dangerous activities like breathing while I’m in a public bathroom, eating at restaurants, or touching door handles at work, I can handle the risk of my sweet cheeks touching a dry seat.

I’m the clean hoverer from above.

Does anyone feel like the seat isn’t clean enough from wiping the dirty toilet seat with a dry piece of toilet paper?

I guess that’s what gets me. It’s not sanitized.

No toilet seat cover, no hovering unless circumstances are really bad. Most of the time I sit my buttcheeks right on the seat.

Still alive, no STDs, and have never even had covid.

My Mom was super OCD and taught me to always use toilet seat covers. Somewhere along the way I would just hover and now I really don't care.

I'm a scientist, in biology, so it's not like I don't know about germ theory I just don't think it does anything and is wasting paper.

Am I a weirdo? Anyone else do the same?
