Erica Meltzer for writing and reading, 1600.io orange books for math, and lots and lots of past exams

Does taking it multiple times hurt in any way?

No, the more times you take the SAT the better you can expect your score to be. Most schools don't ask to see your complete testing record.

The forum is about advanced academic programs.

Yes! Sat can be taken at any age. Lots of kids start in middle school. The advanced[b] ones.

What prep books do you recommend for SAT. Our child is going to take it this fall(1st time) they just asked that they get a book to use this summer. Then if they want a higher score we will put them into a prep course and they can take it again spring 2024

Also one and done. Prepped July/Aug between 10th and 11th grade, took in Aug/Sept of Junior year (can't remember exactly), and was done

How many times did your kid take the sat and when did they start?

What improvement from time to time?
