Subject: Is this a “collision” when I go to sell?
Replaced through insurance as result of accident. It will show on carfax as accident with minor damage

Whether or not this affects the resale value depends on this being reported by your insurance or body shop. If it is reported it will show on carfax and will reduce the resale value.

Sitting parked at a red light. Bike rack mounted on rear window of wagon. Backed up a couple of inches (there was glare, could not see well out rear) and bike rack barely tapped the grill of the RAM truck behind me, sending the bike rack crashing through my rear window as the path of least resistance, but the car itself was never in contact with the other car. No real impact or collision to either vehicle. Window was replaced under insurance and they threw in the rear bumper just bc it was covered and so I got a nice new one instead of mine that had a few scratches from street parking. Zero structural damage.
