You’ll be fine. My daughter is late august 2013 and a 4th grader for another week.
Redshirting of girls is not rampant here like in the southern states. There’s a nice distribution plus your daughter will get 5th grade in ES and then go to the middle school model for 6th.
We have a similar situation however are moving from a progressive private school to testing-centric public school with a sept 1 cutoff but 1/3 of the kids are redshirted or more. So will be 12-18 mos older than our daughter plus 5th grade is a MS model. We don’t know what to do. It will be a double adjustment and tracking get set based in 5th test results and grades.

No, that's not how it works. She would stay in the grade she is currently in. Cut offs are not retroactive.

When we moved to DC they forced my son to skip 1st grade based on his birthday. WORST thing ever for him. Put him behind classmates for years, which was a disaster.

The cut off only matters for when you enter kindergarten.

The cut off is usually irrelevant after grade 1.
They care for pre-K through 1. I started one of my kids in private for this reason. Later, the birthday was not an issue. I’ve taught sixth graders who were 9 on the first day of school as a result.

She will not need to repeat unless she failed and has significant learning difficulties and you request a repeat.
If she's finished grade 4 they will take her for grade 5 no questions asked
