What is moderate cardio mean? What activity? How long? We’re you doing this before two weeks ago or is this all new?
You might have gone too far too fast.
Moderate as in around 250 calories in 20 minutes (I ride a bike) and I’m eating around 1600 calories, which is a deficit. I wasn’t as strict two weeks ago, but I was attempting.

This is what I eat regularly and I normally get 8.5-9.5 hours of sleep each night. It might just be that people who eat more also sleep less and that people who eat less require more sleep. There is a negative correlation between weight and sleep so that would make sense.

View it as a gift. Sleeping a lot will help you lose weight.

How is your hydration level? I would try adding some electrolytes and see if it helps.

Other options are to get an extra hour of sleep or cut the cardio out for a week or two until your body gets used to the cut.

Good luck! A lot of this is small adjustments to see what you can manage.

How much of a deficit is 1600? That would be way too much of a deficit for me and I'd be really tired. I'm small, too.

The past two weeks I’ve been really focused on diet (calorie tracking my deficit, eating more protein, etc.) and making sure I get moderate cardio in daily.

I’m tired all the time.

I’m already on multivitamin and iron supplements. I’m getting loads of sunshine. I’m get an average of 8 hours, and it seems I’m even more tired if I get more than that.

How long does it take to get used to this new energy in/energy out level?
