She's a great cook and will mix it up depending on how much time she has. She likes to finish cleaning the house before starting dinner so she doesn't always have a lot of time. We had a cleaning lady but she didn't like the way she cleaned so she won't let us try someone else even though I've offered many times. Oh well, she's a great cook even with little time. I'm very lucky!

DH made seasoned Salmon, Wild Rice and Broccoli. It was delish. When are you cooking OP?

Tonight he's making chicken parmesan last night it was ribeye steaks, garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli.

My husband has taken over a lot of the cooking this year. He's made all the school lunches.

When the kids were little and he was working like crazy, I would do nearly all the cooking and lunches. Now they're older, and he's cut back on his work, he does his share.

I have to say, the division of labor has gotten a lot fairer!

Tonight was a special snack meal - he served foie gras on slices of toasted sourdough bread. Mango for dessert. Not a vegetable in sight!

Tonight, turkey meatloaf with glaze, roaster mixed vegetables and stuffed jalapeños, with a side of Ceasar salad (my Ceasar dressing is to die for) also, tonight a strawberry cobbler from the fresh basket of berries our DD brought home on her drive from college. Celebratory desert for her, we don't usually have desert. DH cooked last evening, roasted garlic chicken, fingerling potatoes, pear and endive salad and green beans. Meat + 3! We eat at at 5:45. That's enough time for me to kick my feet up, have a Manhattan, and relax in front of the television before she calls us to the table.
