It's always one of the top-performing schools in Arlington due to the demographics. It's a good community, albeit rife with affluenza.

PP who said PTA events are held at the country club is wrong -- they're held at the schools. However, the annual fundraiser IS indeed held at the Washington Golf and Country Club. And it's an over-the-top soiree.

I don’t think it will see a large impact at all. Maybe a few things on Glebe or Old Dominion. But OP doesn’t live here so likely has no idea. I would personally want to know that possibility before making a move. It would likely be a surprise to most homebuyers.

There might be a few side by side duplexes or townhouses that sell for $1.5 mil each, so that would be tragic.
