Lululemon stores are so small the clerk could probably see you at the door.

If you just bought it, they could pull up the purchase.

If you have an account, Lululemon has you in your system and a receipt of all your purchases.

If you pay with a card, they can swipe your card and see what you bought .

You don’t need a receipt.

I want a receipt to prove I paid for something. I recently bought something at lululemon and the clerk forgot to take the sensor off. I was glad I had remembered to ask for the receipt so I could prove I’d actually paid for it.

Receipt paper costs businesses money. Some registers are very complicated to weave the paper through. It takes time to order, stock, and then load the paper. Customers that don't want the receipt will often drop them on the floor or in the parking lot.

You being the one out of 50 customers that wants a receipt doesn't make it worth it.

Np, and I've often wondered the same. I like to have a paper receipt, and it is so frustrating having to ask for it. I have to ask nearly 100% of the time. I keep paper receipts to track monthly spending the old fashioned way-- sue me.

What place doesn't give a receipt?

Fast food places had the "free if no receipt" sign to prevent staff from stealing food and selling it for cash.
That doesn't happen anymore because no one who still uses cash would rat out a thieving cashier.

Yeah, they are very high in chemicals linked to carcinogens. No thanks.

Cause theyre filled with BPA and smart people dont wanna touch em anymore

Whenever I use my credit card, I always want my receipt, especially if it's a large purchase. Also, the Walmart I use has someone check the receipts at the exit doors.
