The FIT is a better car than the Civic. Reliability, space, gas mileage - all superior. The research surprised me. For some reason, Honda stopped selling them in the US but they are still popular overseas, and there are rabid fan clubs here in the US. I thought Subaru drivers were nuts for their cars, but Fit owners are even more head over heels. The new version in Europe costs $14K and gets 61 mph. Wish we had that here!

Op got 2020 Fit w/15k for 20k. If 20 includes everything, not too bad.

Op got 2020 Fit w/15k for 20k. If 20 includes everything, not too bad.

There is no used car factory, you need to go online and see who has what you’re looking for and buy from there.

OP back. Thanks for your help. I had a great experience at Sport Honda in Silver Spring. Bought a 2020 Honda Fit with only 15,000 miles. Got 44 mpg yesterday. Thrilled. Maleek in certified pre-owned helped us. He was wonderful.

can't tell you where to buy but get a carfax report to make sure all the maintennance was done on time. Oil chages, brake fluit flush, transmission fluid replacement. Not sure if the Fit has a timing belt but if so, at 8 yrs old it should have been changed and the std procedure has them replacing the water pump and engine coolant along with belt tensioner and some other stuff. If battery was never changed, put a new one in. At 8 yrs old, battery is on borrowed time. Good luck. PS i think honda now has a certified program for higher mileage cars.
