My now 4th grader still uses one. It doesn’t have a heated compartment though. She takes hot food twice a week and we use a Thermos on those days.
I’ve heard the yum box is bigger.

As someone who supervises kindergarten lunch I love them. They are easy to open and everything is in one place. All the small containers can be difficult to open, tip over or get lost. I liked the Bentgo boxes so much I bought one for myself.

I'll be honest-my kid has one (the plastic one from Walmart) and she loves it. It is harder to fit in an icepack, yes. But if I send small reuseable containers, they will inevitably get lost or thrown out (without fail). So, I use the bento box and paper sandwich bags as needed. It fits in her lunchbox, also from Walmart so no suprise there lol.

OP, it does have an area with a lid that would keep food warm. It's like $6 so worth a look.

We have an OMIE bento box which has worked well for DC’s school lunches until now. We are looking for something with more compartments, possibly a little larger, but which still has a thermos-type (keep cooked food warm) compartment.

Suggestions ?
