But the crew never brought food in or partook in the chimp's fruit, so they didn't see them as a threat or competition. And they never intervened in any situation, even tragic ones. They way they were able to follow the chimps in the dense rainforest is really pretty incredible.
Is this Gombe, where Jane Goodall's team has worked? I haven't watched the show yet, but is this just an extension of her observations with the same community of chimps?
